Ginseng is a famous medicinal root that has been used in the Orient for thousands of years and is famous for naturally enhancing body energy. Ginger is a natural digestive herb.
Ingredients
1 medium size ginger root about ¾ cup
I bottle of liquid ginseng extract (Gaia Herbs)
1 large bottle of chilled mineral water
1 cup of fresh squeezed chilled orange or tangerine juice
2 tablespoons Stevia or 1/3 cup Monk Fruit sugar
Instructions
Wash and chop 1 ginger root into 1 inch cubes (do not peel). Put the ginger in a blender and blend on grate until ginger is fine. Put grated ginger in a container or mason jar cover with 1 cup boiling water and add 2 Tb of stevia or 1/3 cup Monk Fruit sugar. Let sit over-night. Strain and place the syrup back into the container.
Mixture will keep for 3 days if refrigerated.
In a champagne flute put in 2 tablespoons of ginger syrup, 3 pipet droppers of ginseng extract, ¼ eup of chilled fresh orange or tangerine juice, add the chilled sparking water to the top and garnish with orange wedge. Makes 6-8 servings.
