Amino acids are the individual organic chemicals that are found in all protein foods.  The 16 amino acids are considered the building blocks for all cells. All muscle and brain tissue are fed by amino acids. They help in tissue repair, enhance energy and stamina, fight fatigue, and stabilize blood sugar. They are also famous for enhancing muscle mass and strength. Individual amino acid supplements, such as Taurine, can be effective taken in high doses to calm the nervous system. Acidophilus is involved in all vitamin synthesis, natural antibiotic production, immune defense, and detoxification of pro-carcinogens and a host of other activities. Acidophilus is naturally occurring in yogurt and all fermented foods, but for medicinal purposes it should be taken as a concentrated high dose supplement.

Essential Fatty Acids

These are the fats the body cannot make and therefore must be added to the diet.

Essential fatty acids are widely found in many foods. These essential fatty acids are used by the body to produce hormone-like substances that regulate a wide range of body functions such as: brain functioning, blood pressure, blood clotting, controlling lipid levels, supporting immune response, and producing hormones. Essential Fatty Acids are Omega 3 and Omega 6 and 9. These oils need to be ingested  on a daily basis, as the body cannot make them. Using cold pressed organic oils from nuts, seeds, and vegetables should be added to the diet daily. These good fats also come from oily foods such as, avocados, seeds, nuts, olives.  Essential fatty acids can  be added to the diet  in pill and liquid form.
