Sarah Baker, LAc.,
Acupuncturist & Massage Therapist

I am a licensed acupuncturist (LAc) and work as an integrative Chinese medicine practitioner at East West Optimum Health in Mill Valley, California. I received my Master of Science in Traditional Chinese Medicine from American College of Traditional Chinese Medicine located in San Francisco. I have also received a BFA in Dance Performance from Butler University and an Associate in Occupational Studies in massage therapy at the renowned Swedish Institute of Massage Therapy in New York City.

I have always had an appreciation and attraction to the healing arts, even as a young girl I would help my friends by teaching them my physical therapy exercises if they presented with the same pains and aliments I was experiencing. Currently I am working with patients dealing with pain management, with stress, anxiety and depression as well as general health including constitutional wellness and treatments in facial acupuncture.

I am happy to be working in Mill Valley and I am invested in brining my knowledge and practice to the community here.

“I had a radiating pain my left leg that just persisted no matter what I did.  I was concerned that it was a disc problem or worse.   I went to Sarah who carefully evaluated me and used not only acupuncture but her extensive knowledge of body mechanics and massage. The results are fantastic.  I am no longer in pain and have been able to resume working out.  Thank you, Sarah!” - Mary S. - Mill Valley
